Grape Island
About
Grape Island, also known as "Grass" and "Rose", is an island in the Township of Front of Yonge, United Counties of Leeds and Grenville, Ontario. It lies north (downriver) of Peel Island and southwest (upriver) of Dark Island (US). It covers about 0.9 hectares (2.3 acres), with 0.5 km (0.3 mi) of shoreline, and rises to 81 m (267 ft) above sea level. The name was adopted officially on 8 March 1974.
