Chippewa Bay is a populated place in the Town of Hammond, St. Lawrence County, New York. It lies on the US mainland east of Atlantis Island and south (uprive) of Chippewa Creek.
It is a hamlet on the Saint Lawrence River and New York State Route 12, 3.1 miles (5.0 km) west of Hammond. Its post office opened on August 3, 1880.
