Reveille Island
About
Reveille Island is an island in the Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands, United Counties of Leeds and Grenville, Ontario. It is also known as "Berwick" or "Hog". It covers about 1.1 hectares (2.7 acres), with 0.4 km (0.3 mi) of shoreline, and rises to 79 m (259 ft) above sea level.
A Thousand Islands Life article says the island was logged bare by 1873 and served as a wood depot selling fuel to passing steamers. A large Italianate cottage with an off-centre tower was built on it after 1880.
